Conservation of the Ahlsdorf Pictorial Wall Hangings

In 2014, a cultural event took place in the district of Elbe-Elster that attracted a great deal of attention – the First Brandenburg State Exhibition. The exhibition was held at Schloss Doberlug in the city of Doberlug-Kirchhain. Three of the canvas paintings mounted on the west wall of the drawing room at Schloss Ahlsdorf were chosen for presentation at the State Exhibition. Schloss Ahlsdorf is situated in the Elbe-Elster district in the state of Brandenburg.
